From 13 to 28 December 2025, Winter District returns to its original home at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, bringing festive cheer to the heart of the city. The open-air destination will feature twinkling decor, an ice rink, a snow play area and a grand Christmas tree surrounded by themed food pop-ups, shopping stalls and live performances. Families can visit Santa’s grotto, explore the festive market or take part in games and workshops, while live entertainment each evening adds to the holiday atmosphere. Expect plenty of seasonal flavours, creative energy and joyful moments for all ages throughout this winter wonderland.

From 6 to 31 December 2025, Al Wasl Plaza at Expo City Dubai will transform into Winter City – a dazzling festive wonderland. Families can enjoy live shows, creative workshops and twinkling lights, with falling snow and a spectacular tree lighting bringing the season to life. It’s a joyful setting, where the magic of winter meets Dubai’s festive spirit. 

Add a sprinkle of sugar, a dash of mischief and a whole lot of fun to your festive calendar. On 6 and 7 December 2025, The Great Christmas Elf Bake Off takes over Theatre by QE2, with Holly-Berry and Pepper-Mint (two of Santa’s cheekiest elves) competing to bake 200 beautifully decorated gingerbread cookies. Expect flour-flying hijinks, catchy holiday songs and an interactive family show that’s just right for kids aged three to 11 (and everyone who’s young at heart). After the show, children can meet the elves, pose for photos and continue the festive fun.

From 20 to 24 December 2025, Al Wasl Plaza will host the third annual Carols by Candlelight, a heartwarming celebration featuring the Firdaus Orchestra and local school choirs. Audiences can enjoy festive classics performed by vocalists, musicians and dancers, set against Christmas-themed projections under Expo City Dubai's iconic dome. Expect surprise visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, with entry also including access to Winter City.

From 12 to 14 December 2025, the UAE’s beloved family entertainer returns with Magic Phil’s Christmas Cracker at Jumeirah Beach Hotel Theatre. Now in its 12th year, this festive one-man show is packed with magic, laughter and heart-warming moments that celebrate kindness and togetherness. Expect fun tricks, audience interaction and plenty of holiday cheer – a joyful treat for families looking to kick-start the festive season.

Adding to the festive line-up at the same venue, Cinderella – The Magical Pantomime Fairytale will take the stage from 17 to 29 December. This family favourite brings the classic story to life with dazzling costumes, catchy songs and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments – perfect for all ages.
